金頂兔寶寶

這學期除了要再念兩門中文課，學士後中學教育文憑的課也同時開學了，加上每個禮拜在六個不同的地方教書，還有每天還是要張羅家裡另外三個大人一隻貓的吃喝。。。

咦？我的人生什麼時候也開始需要金頂兔寶寶了？！

Days have become very pretty busy since school started, and the next four months will only be more hectic…

This term I got a tutoring job working in university teaching Mandarin to a group of non-Chinese background students. I feel this is excellent. I can now share my skills and knowledge acquired in other beneficial areas of my teaching with the students at the university.

In addition to tutoring in university, I am still teaching in WEA, a local community language school, and 3 other homes tutoring 6 school children. It means I have to prepare 6 different teaching materials every week to meet the need of the different groups. I enjoy this part of teaching very much, I decide what I want to teach, and I am able to have to personal relationship with each student because of the small group.

Last year I did two Chinese language studies with university, I am happy to have two HD when the results came out. I am doing two other subjects in Chinese this term and I should finish my Graduate Certificate of Art in Chinese this July. I also decided to push myself to start my Graduate Diploma in Education at the same time, I only take one subject this term and the workload is pleasantly challenging.

I am hoping I am not over doing the work, and keep reminding myself to enjoy what I am doing.

Blue Water Paradise - Port Stephens

很多澳洲人喜歡每年到同一個地方去度假，連續去個十年都不會膩的。

但是澳洲那那麼大的一個國家，老是去同一個地方，看同樣的景色，住同樣的地方，吃同樣的東西，實在太沒有道理了。

還好先生這點跟我一樣懶散，平常我們也不太會去想這個假期要去哪裡哪裡，都是等真正放假了，在家也休息了一段時間，才會有心情計劃要出去走走。

剛過完聖誕節，先生家那頭一連傳來了幾個壞消息，有人接到檢查報告被告知得了癌，有人跟多金的男朋友分手，還有一家人去斐濟度假卻被暴雨洪災困在機場。

出了那麼多事，搞得我對要去度假這事意興闌珊，不過還是先生堅持，一定要出去走走，天大的事情回來再說吧！

我們沒去遠，就去了雪梨北邊有名的史提芬斯港，從家裡開車大概4個多小時就到了。

澳洲人好像再窮也要去旅行，手頭寬裕的人，住在一晚要上幾萬臺幣的別墅豪宅，沒錢或不想多花錢在住的地方的人，也可以去臺幣幾百塊的露營區，搭個帳篷撮合一下。

我們是過了那個年紀，再怎麼樣也要找個有四面牆的地方才睡得著。

史提芬斯港名不虛傳，到處都是海天一色，海豚是一定看得到的，連路邊停個車，都可以碰巧看到野生的無尾熊在樹梢上抱著樹枝睡覺。

至於想看Nelson Bay 長什麼樣子的人，就麻煩去雪梨睡魔筆下的澳洲四處跑之 Nelson's Bay ，多虧他嘞，我們才想去 Nelson Bay 看看。

人生艱難的時候，想到還有那麼多的地方沒有去過，就覺得努力活下去還有些意思。

Christmas Presents

先生每年在聖誕節前一天才會張羅禮物，我對他在店鋪關門前搬回家的東西，總是很好奇。

自己不是喜歡穿戴首飾的女人，連婚戒都是出了門才會戴上，穿衣服也很挑剔，不是真正喜歡的，一次也不會穿。

雖然心裡頭對這個一心要送個好禮的人很抱歉，但是從認識到結婚都快20年了，很難再變出什麼花樣吧，我想。

打開禮物的時候自然還是很開心，畢竟是我一直捨不得買的東西嘛！

下午先生替我組裝好了Dyson，自己就兜著機器全家轉，聽說很多男人對這臺吸塵器都愛不釋手？！如果是真的，光是這點就值了。

試用了一下，果然是一臺很棒的機器呢！

聲音大了些，用的時候一定要把iPod戴上，先生再三叮嚀。

開跑車的時候，該不會期待發車子還是靜悄悄的吧！忘了是在哪里看到誰說過的，我回了他。

先生笑了出來，我想那個獅子座的虛榮心應該已經滿足了。
